Jean Curtelin worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. A screenwriter for film, Curtelin's best work was often considered to include the Jean Carmet comedic drama "Dupont Lajoie" (1974), the comedy "Les Oeufs Brouilles" (1975) with Jean Carmet and "A chacun son enfer" (1976). During the latter part of his career, Curtelin wrote the Corinne Touzet thriller "La Rumba" (1987), the Clovis Cornillac crime flick "Il y a maldonne" (1988) and the Murray Head drama "La Barbare" (1989). In addition to his writing, Curtelin also appeared in the comedy "Suivez mon regard" (1986) with Pierre Arditi. Curtelin more recently wrote "The Teddy Bear" (1994).
