Biography
Marcel Achard worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Achard wrote for a variety of films, including the Brian Aherne drama "The Lady in Question" (1940) and the drama "The Alibi" (1943) with Margaret Lockwood. Achard also appeared in "Mam'zelle Nitouche" (1954) starring Fernandel, "The Earrings of Madame De..." (1954) starring Charles Boyer and "Girl on the Third Floor" (1958) starring Marina Vlady. He also worked on "The Female" with Brigitte Bardot (1959). Later in his career, Achard wrote the Peter Sellers comedic adventure "A Shot in the Dark" (1964). Achard passed away in September 1974 at the age of 75.
