Biography
Joely Collins was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Moment of Truth: To Walk Again" (1993-94), "Annie O" (Showtime, 1995-96) and "Beauty's Revenge" (NBC, 1995-96). She also appeared in "Generation X" (Fox, 1995-96). In the beginning of her Hollywood career, Collins acted in films like "Hideaway" (1995) with Jeff Goldblum. Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "Poltergeist: The Legacy" (Syfy, 1995-2000) and "First Wave" (Syfy, 1998-2001). More recently, she earned a role in the David Keith thriller "Deadly Sins" (1996). She also starred in the TV movies "LaVyrle Spencer's Home Song" (1995-96), "Harlequin's Diamond Girl" (The Movie Channel, 1997-98) and "Our Guys: Outrage in Glen Ridge" (ABC, 1998-99). She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Poltergeist: The Legacy" (Syfy, 1995-2000) and "First Wave" (Syfy, 1998-2001). Collins took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in "The Dinosaur Hunter" (2000) with Alison Pill, the sci-fi flick "Final Cut" (2004) with Robin Williams and the Donal Logue drama "Almost Heaven" (2006). She held additional roles in television including a part on "The Dead Zone" (USA, 2001-07). Collins's distinctive voice can be heard on "Alienators: Evolution Continues" (Fox, 2001-02). Most recently, Collins appeared in "Four Extraordinary Women" (Lifetime, 2006-07).
