Biography
Terry Lester was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Barbary Coast" (ABC, 1974-75). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Ark II" (CBS, 1976-77) and "Dallas" (CBS, 1977-1991). He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "The Young and the Restless" in 1983. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Once Upon a Spy" (ABC, 1980-81). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Characters" (NBC, 1980-81) and "That's TV" (NBC, 1981-82). Lester's music was most recently used in the Kevin Bacon crime picture "Wild Things" (1998). Lester had a number of different projects under his belt in the eighties and the nineties, including "In Self Defense" (ABC, 1986-87), "Soap Opera Digest Awards" (NBC, 1987-88) and "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" (NBC, 1989-1990). His credits also expanded to "Soap Opera Awards" (NBC, 1989-1990) and "The Ninth Annual Soap Opera Awards" (NBC, 1992-93). Lester passed away in November 2003 at the age of 53.
