Biography
Born in Panama City, Panama and raised in Canada, the tall, attractive Klea Scott first worked in TV at the age of 12 for two seasons (1982-84) on the Canadian program "You Can't Do That on Television," an experience that switched her focus from tap dancing to acting. Following her graduation from high school, she studied acting in NYC and spent a summer at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. On stage, she has also performed in "All's Well That Ends Well" and "The Tempest," with the New York Shakespeare Festival. Scott made her network TV debut on an episode of the CBS sitcom "Cosby" before accepting the regular role of Officer Nona Valentine on the police drama "Brooklyn South" (CBS, 1997-98). After some time, her character became enmeshed in an interracial romantic triangle with two fellow officers.
After this short stint on network television, Scott found herself back doing community theater, working with her husband, a theatrical writer and director. However, she was luckily immediately cast in the Fox drama Millenium, as Special Agent Emma Hollis for the 98-99 season. After that show too went off the air, Scott had some small film and televsion roles but it was not long before she found herself back on a primetime series. She was cast as a police officer in the 2002 drama from CBS, "Robbery Homicide Division."
