Biography
Jimmy Iovine worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Iovine worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Road House" with Patrick Swayze (1989), "Scrooged" with Bill Murray (1988) and "Sixteen Candles" (1984). He also contributed to "Streets of Fire" (1984), "U2 Rattle and Hum" (1988) starring Bono and "Weird Science" with Anthony Michael Hall (1985). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Iovine devoted his time to various credits, such as "Family Guy" (Fox, 1999-), "American Idol" and the Eminem and Kim Basinger box office smash "8 Mile" (2002). He also worked on "Interscope Presents: The Next" (Showtime, 2003-04). Iovine had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s and the 2010s, including "More Than a Game" (2009) starring LeBron James, "Archie's Final Project" (2011) and "Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways" (HBO, 2014). His credits also expanded to "Inside the Label" (BET, 2016). Most recently, Iovine appeared on "The Defiant Ones" (HBO, 2017). Iovine was nominated for an Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special Primetime Emmy Award for "Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden" in 2011.
