Layne Coleman's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. He had a part on the television special "All My Sons" (PBS, 1986-87). He also appeared in the TV movie "A Matter of Sex" (NBC, 1983-84). In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Coleman held acting roles in films like the horror movie "Humongous" (1982) with Janet Julian. He also landed a role in the miniseries "Glory! Glory!" (1989-1990). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in "The Big Town" (1987), "The Housekeeper" (1987) and "Abraxas" (1991). He also appeared in the Louis Tripp horror sequel "Gate II" (1992). Coleman most recently appeared in "Tripping Wire" (Lifetime, 2005-06).
