Traci Dinwiddie
Biography
Biography
Traci Dinwiddle has played some very daring parts. In the short "Open Your Eyes," for which she received ample praise, she played Julia, a woman whose life is turned upside down by the news that she has breast cancer. Dinwiddle played the part with poise and nuance, never descending down the slippery slope of sentimentality. She is perhaps more recognizable to the general public for her recurring part on the fantasy series "Supernatural," about two brothers who have taken it upon themselves to rid the world of evil forces, whether they be vampires or demons. Dinwiddle played the part of Pamela Barnes, a psychic who befriends the brothers and, like many of the good-hearted people they meet, suffers as a result of her rather imprudent choice of company. (First she is blinded during a seance, then slain by a demon. As a consolation prize, she is seen later in heaven.) Dinwiddle was also in the feature film "Mr. Brooks," an overlooked thriller in which Kevin Costner stars as a serial killer.
