Friedericy made appearances on a wide range of programs early on in her acting career with credits on "Mad About You" (1992-99), "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1996-2003) and "Oh Baby" (Lifetime, 1998-2000). She also appeared in "Payne" (1998-99), "Judging Amy" (CBS, 1999-2005) and "Family Law" (CBS, 1999-2002). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Bones" (Fox, 2005-) and "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-). In the early 2000s, she acted in the dramatic adaptation "House of Sand and Fog" (2003) with Ben Kingsley and the comedic adaptation "Christmas with the Kranks" (2004) with Tim Allen. She spent the early 2000s tackling film roles in "Akeelah and the Bee" (2006), the Melinda Page Hamilton comedic drama "Sleeping Dogs Lie" (2006) and "Next" (2007) with Nicolas Cage.
