Chad L Coleman
Biography
Biography
If there was a poster child for foster care, Chad Coleman was it. He made the best of his situation, living with foster parents in Richmond, Virginia, to become a successful actor. His two most memorable came as Dennis "Cutty" Wise on the searing drama "The Wire" (HBO 2002-08) and Tyreese on the cult chiller "The Walking Dead" (AMC 2010-). Growing up, Coleman was a very good athlete, especially in track and field, though that dream fell by the wayside after a leg injury. He focused on acting after he finished serving in the United States Army in 1989 after a four-year stint as a video cameraman. Between his two most high profile TV roles, he also made appearances in shows ranging from the police procedural "CSI: Miami" (CBS 2002-2012), legal drama "The Good Wife" (CBS 2009-), and cult favorite dark comedy "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" (FX 2005-). His big screen career included roles in the superhero tale "The Green Hornet" (2011), with Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz, and the comedy hit "Horrible Bosses" (2011) with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. In 2015, Coleman joined the cast of science fiction thriller "The Expanse" (Syfy 2015- ) as Col. Frederick Lucius Johnson.
