Lynn Anderson was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Anderson worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Dean Martin Presents Music Country, U.S.A." (NBC, 1972-73). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Tennessee Ernie Ford's White Christmas" (1972-73), "Country Music Hit Parade" (NBC, 1972-73) and "Bob Hope Special: Happy Birthday, Bob!" (NBC, 1977-78). She also appeared in "Lucy Comes to Nashville" (CBS, 1978-79) and "Country Stars of the '70s" (NBC, 1979-1980). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Country Gold" (CBS, 1982-83). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Country Galaxy of Stars" (1981-82) and "Dean Martin's Christmas at Sea World" (NBC, 1981-82). Anderson's music was most recently featured in "Hot Pursuit" (2015). Anderson continued to exercise her talent in the nineties through the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "The Women of Country" (CBS, 1992-93), "The Watermelon Woman" (1997) starring Cheryl Dunye and "Janice Beard" (2002) starring Rhys Ifans. Her credits also expanded to "Zodiac" with Jake Gyllenhaal (2007).
