Biography
Rey Gallegos came to acting from the world of dance, making his mark in a number of stage productions, including "Fame" at the El Modena, Playhouse, before finding a small part in the 1994 family film "Monkey Trouble." He returned to acting in 2000, landing a small role on "The King Of Queens," followed by a role on the short-lived sitcom "Bette." Once bitten by the acting bug, the hard-working thespian started appearing on a wide range of other shows, including "The Practice," "Star Trek: Enterprise" and "CSI: Miami." He had a recurring part as Cristobel on FOX's hit "Prison Break," and also featured on the same network's "24" in two different roles. On the big screen, he's been primarily typecast into playing Latino gangsters in movies like "Bad Boys II" and "Malibu's Most Wanted." He also worked as an armored truck driver in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 3." Perhaps his biggest movie role to date came as Diaz, one of the mercenaries in the 2008 action film "Rambo." Gallegos also featured in a number of behind-the-scenes documentaries around that movie. His most recent role is in the lead of the A&E television series "Longmire," based on the detective novels by Craig Johnson.
