Biography
Actor Bill Camp was known for his roles on the silver screen. Camp had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Glenn Close comedic drama "Reversal of Fortune" (1990), the Kevin Kline comedy "In & Out" (1997) and "Rounders" (1998) with Matt Damon. He had a part on the television special "Hamlet" (PBS, 1990-91). Camp worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98). He continued to act in productions like "Dying Gaul" (2005), the dramatic adaptation "Reservation Road" (2007) with Joaquin Phoenix and "Deception" (2008). He also appeared in the Saffron Burrows drama "The Guitar" (2008). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Ann Dowd drama "Compliance" (2012), "Lawless" (2012) with Shia LaBeouf and the Daniel Day-Lewis box office smash dramatic adaptation "Lincoln" (2012). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "12 Years a Slave" (2013) with Chiwetel Ejiofor and "The Maid's Room" (2014). Camp most recently acted in the Michael Shannon sci-fi feature "Midnight Special" (2016).
