During the early stages of his acting career, Hensley worked in films like the Ashley Judd comedic adaptation "Someone Like You" (2001). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the Scott Baio drama "The Bread, My Sweet" (2002) and the Hugh Jackman blockbuster action film "Van Helsing" (2004). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Jury" (Fox, 2003-04).
