Biography
Shuler Hensley was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He had the title role in a German stage production of "The Phantom of the Opera." His acting career began with roles in the series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1999-), "Ed" (NBC, 2000-04) and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011). He also appeared in the TV movie "Monday Night Mayhem" (TNT, 2001-02). During the early stages of his acting career, Hensley worked in films like the Ashley Judd comedic adaptation "Someone Like You" (2001). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the Scott Baio drama "The Bread, My Sweet" (2002) and the Hugh Jackman blockbuster action film "Van Helsing" (2004). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Jury" (Fox, 2003-04). He spent the early 2000s and the 2010s tackling film roles in the action movie "The Legend of Zorro" (2005) with Antonio Banderas and the thriller "After.Life" (2010) with Christina Ricci. Hensley most recently acted in "Odd Thomas" (2013) with Anton Yelchin.
