Biography

Actor Ken Marks was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Marks began his acting career with roles in the series "Law & Order" (1990-2010), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Third Watch" (NBC, 1999-2005). He also appeared in the TV movie "The Confession" (Cinemax, 1998-99). Marks also contributed music to "Loving" (ABC, 1982-1996). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s and the 2010s, including stints on "New Amsterdam" (2007-08), "Life on Mars" (ABC, 2008-09) and "Royal Pains" (USA, 2008-). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the Josh Peck drama "The Wackness" (2008) and the Rick Malambri drama sequel "Step Up 3-D" (2010). More recently, he tackled roles on "Elementary" (CBS, 2012-) and "The Knick" (Cinemax, 2013-15). Marks took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the Jude Law thriller "Side Effects" (2013) and "Kelly & Cal" (2014) with Juliette Lewis. Most recently, Marks acted on "Madam Secretary" (CBS, 2014-).
