Biography
Denise Lute was an actress most commonly known for her memorable roles in television. Lute worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Dead of Winter" with Mary Steenburgen (1987) and "Threesome" (CBS, 1984-85). Several more television roles followed in the nineties and the early 2000s, including stints on "Law & Order" (1990-2010), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Ed" (NBC, 2000-04). She also appeared in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011). Most recently, Lute acted in the Olympia Dukakis drama "Whiskey School" (2007).
