Biography
Shannon Powell's skills as a drummer contributed to a variety of Hollywood productions. Powell's acting career began with roles in the series "Stargate SG-1" (1997-2006) and "Harsh Realm" (Fox, 1999-2000). She had an early role on the television special "Harry Connick, Jr. & His Orchestra: Swinging Out With Harry" (PBS, 1990-91). She also appeared in the TV movie "For the Love of Nancy" (ABC, 1994-95). She also landed a role in the miniseries "A Girl Thing" (2000-01). During these years, she also worked in film, earning a part in the Angelina Jolie dramedy "Life or Something Like It" (2002). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Dark Angel" (Fox, 2000-02). She also appeared in "Blade: Trinity" (2004). She also was featured in the TV movie "Phenomenon II" (ABC, 2003-04). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Supernatural" (2005-). Most recently, Powell acted on "Fringe" (Fox, 2008-2013).
