Her recurring role in another comedic series, "Men Behaving Badly," was cut short when the show ended in 1997, but she followed it with a stint on "The Drew Carey Show." Featured in guest spots on many sitcoms of the era, including "Seinfeld," Bergere also turned up in films, including the 2000 spoof "Psycho Beach Party" and the 2005 family comedy "Yours, Mine and Ours." Gravitating increasingly towards movies, she had supporting parts in "Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer" and the 2012 indie comedy "Safety Not Guaranteed."
