Biography
Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Harry Van Gorkum graced the silver screen many times. At the start of his acting career, Gorkum appeared on television comedies like "Seinfeld" (NBC, 1989-1998), "The Nanny" (CBS, 1993-99) and "First Time Out" (WB, 1995-96). He also appeared in "Can't Hurry Love" (CBS, 1995-96). Gorkum launched his entertainment career by acting in films like the Arnold Schwarzenegger hit action picture "Batman & Robin" (1997). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in "Deep Core" (2000) with Craig Sheffer, the Nicolas Cage hit action flick "Gone in 60 Seconds" (2000) and "Dragonheart 2: A New Beginning" (2000). He also appeared in the crime drama "One Night At Mccool's" (2001) with Michael Douglas. More recently, he tackled roles in the action film "The Last Legion" (2007) with Colin Firth, the comedy sequel "The Pink Panther 2" (2009) with Steve Martin and the Jaden Smith smash hit action movie "The Karate Kid" (2010). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "NCIS: Los Angeles" (CBS, 2009-). Gorkum most recently acted in the Sandra Bullock dramatic adaptation "Our Brand Is Crisis" (2015).
