Keene began as an editor on that show as well, but eventually graduated to producing and directing episodes. She would win an Emmy Award for her editing on the show and share two more with her fellow producers. While her work for the popular serial drama is her most notable achievement, Keene parlayed her success on the show into integral positions such similar, law-themed fare as "NYPD Blue," "Criminal Minds," and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."
