Simon Day was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also was featured in the miniseries "He Knew He Was Right" (2003-04). During the early stages of his acting career, Simon Day worked in films like the Geoffrey Rush smash hit dramatic comedy "Shakespeare in Love" (1998). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Great Kandinsky" (PBS, 1995-96) and "Bertie and Elizabeth" (PBS, 2001-02). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Skins" (2007-2010). He also landed roles in the miniseries "Spartacus" (2003-04), "Casanova" (2004-05) and "ShakespeaRe-Told" (2005). Recently, he tackled roles on "Family Tree" (2012-13), "Drunk History UK" (Comedy Central, 2014-) and "Cradle to Grave" (BBC 2, 2015-). He also appeared in the dramatic adventure "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" (2009) with Heath Ledger. Most recently, Simon Day acted in "Queen and Country" (2015) with Callum Turner.
