Actor Byron Lawson was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Smallville" (2001-2011). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "First Target" (TBS, 2000-01) and "Off Season" (Showtime, 2001-02). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "Killer Instinct" (Fox, 2005-06) and "Reaper" (CW, 2007-09). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Trophy Wife" (Lifetime, 2005-06). He also landed roles in the miniseries "Fallen" (2005-07) and "Samurai Girl" (2008-09). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the thriller "Snakes on a Plane" (2006) with Samuel L. Jackson. He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Killer Instinct" (Fox, 2005-06) and "Reaper" (CW, 2007-09). More recently, he tackled roles on "Sanctuary (Syfy)" (2008-2012), "True Justice" (Reelz Channel, 2011-13) and "Continuum" (Syfy, 2012-15). He also appeared in "The Tomorrow People" (CW, 2013-14) and "Transporter The Series" (TNT, 2014-15). He also was featured in the TV movie "Killer Mountain" (Syfy, 2010-11). Most recently, Lawson acted in the Nicolas Cage action picture "Outcast" (2015).
