Biography
Linda Henning is the daughter of television producer Paul Henning and is best known for her work on "Petticoat Junction." After studying ballet for several years, Henning developed an interest in acting and made her television debut in 1962 with a small part on "Mister Ed." That same year she landed her breakout role as Betty Jo Bradley on the popular sitcom "Petticoat Junction," a role she carried over to "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Green Acres." All three shows featured numerous crossover characters and all three were produced by her father. Henning was also one of only a few actors to appear in all seven seasons of "Petticoat Junction." After the show was canceled in 1970, she made frequent appearances on late-night talk shows and game shows and landed numerous roles on such shows as "Barnaby Jones," "Love, American Style," and "Happy Days." Henning has since appeared in the sci-fi action series "Sliders" and the 2007 short film "Wrangling Coach Rankin."
