Football legend Marcus Allen took his talents off the field and into entertainment. He also appeared in the TV movie "A Triumph of the Heart: The Ricky Bell Story" (CBS, 1990-91). Allen worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Training Camp: The Bulls Are Back" (HBO, 1985-86). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Super Night at the Super Bowl" (1986-87), "Scared Sexless" (NBC, 1987-88) and "Voices That Care" (Fox, 1990-91). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties, appearing on "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" (1992-97), "Pumped!" (ESPN Network, 1993-94) and "Buddy Faro" (CBS, 1998-99). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "ABC's Monday Night Football Mania!" (ABC, 1996-97) and "Before They Were Pros" (TNT, 1997-98). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Allen lent his talents to projects like "The Jersey" (Disney, 1999-2001), "Super Bowl XXXV" (CBS, 2000-01) and "The Bernie Mac Show" (Fox, 2001-06). His credits also expanded to "Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials" (CBS, 2003-04), "Searching for Angela Shelton" (Lifetime, 2005-06) and "Born Killers" (2007). Allen most recently appeared on "The 2011 Miss USA Pageant" (NBC, 2010-11).
