Katy Kurtzman got her start in the world of acting at the ripe age of 11. She also was featured in the miniseries "The Awakening Land" (1977-78). She had a part on the television special "Very Good Friends" (ABC, 1976-77). She also starred in the TV movies "Mulligan's Stew" (1976-77), "Hunters of the Reef" (NBC, 1977-78) and "When Every Day Was the Fourth of July" (NBC, 1977-78). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Dynasty" (ABC, 1980-89). She also starred in the TV movies "Long Journey Back" (1978-79), "The New Adventures of Heidi" (NBC, 1978-79) and "Diary of a Teenage Hitchhiker" (ABC, 1979-1980). She also appeared in "Sex and the Single Parent" (CBS, 1979-1980). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime, 1999-2005). She also appeared in the Greg Wrangler dramedy "God, Sex & Apple Pie" (2001). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Allison Sidney Harrison" (NBC, 1982-83) and "Student Court" (CBS, 1984-85). Kurtzman most recently acted on "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-).
