Biography
Brenda Ballard was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She had a part on the television special "The Big Five" (NBC, 1987-88). She also starred in the TV movies "Police Story: The Freeway Killings" (1986-87), "The Court-Martial of Jackie Robinson" (TNT, 1990-91) and "The Story Lady" (NBC, 1991-92). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "Melrose Place" (Fox, 1991-98) and "The Nanny" (CBS, 1993-99). In the nineties and the early 2000s, she worked on the silver screen, taking roles in "The Last Big Attraction" (1999) with Hopwood DePree and the action flick "Cellular" (2004) with Kim Basinger. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Guys Like Us" (UPN, 1998-99). More recently, she tackled roles on "The Middle" (2009-), "Justified" (FX, 2009-2015) and "Men of a Certain Age" (TNT, 2009-2011). She also appeared in "Mom" (CBS, 2013-). Ballard most recently appeared in "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day At Camp" (2014-15).
