Biography
Bill Whelan worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Whelan worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "A Celtic Celebration" (PBS, 1994-95), "At the Cinema Palace - Liam O'Leary" (1983) starring Donald Taylor Black and "Hans Christian Andersen's Thumbelina" (1994). He also contributed to "My Left Foot" (1989) starring Daniel Day-Lewis. In the nineties, Whelan devoted his time to various credits, such as "Circle of Friends" with Chris O'Donnell (1995), "Rob Roy" (1995) and "The Tie That Binds" with Daryl Hannah (1995). He also worked on "Riverdance" (PBS, 1996-97). Whelan most recently worked on the dramatic adaptation "Dancing At Lughnasa" (1998) with Meryl Streep.
