Biography

Jerry Cantrell brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Cantrell worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Clerks" (1994), the Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding Jr. blockbuster "Jerry Maguire" (1996) and "Last Action Hero" with Arnold Schwarzenegger (1993). He also contributed to "Singles" (1992). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Cantrell devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Cable Guy" (1996) starring Jim Carrey, "I Love The '90s" (VH1, 2003-04) and "Motorcycle Mania 3: Jesse James Rides Again" (Discovery Channel, 2003-04). He also worked on "Heavy: The Story of Metal" (2005-06). Cantrell's music was also a part of "Funny People" (2009) and the Christian Bale box office smash action flick "Terminator Salvation" (2009). Cantrell's music was most recently featured in the Paul Rudd dramatic comedy "This Is 40" (2012). In addition to his music, Cantrell also appeared on-screen in "Rock Slyde" (2010).
