Biography
Sandra Nelson found success as an actress early on, when she was just ten years old. She began her acting career with roles in the series "The Young and the Restless" (1972-2015), "Scene of the Crime" (CBS, 1990-94) and "Highlander: The Series" (1992-98). She also appeared in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1992-99). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Marshal" (ABC, 1994-96). She also starred in the TV movies "Voices From Within" (1994-95), "Maternal Instincts" (USA, 1995-96) and "The Halfback of Notre Dame" (Showtime, 1995-96). Nelson focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the musical drama "De-Lovely" (2004) with Kevin Kline and the drama "Home of the Brave" (2006) with Samuel L. Jackson. She also was featured in the TV movie "At Any Cost" (VH1, 1999-2000). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime, 1999-2005). Nelson most recently acted in the Leonardo DiCaprio box office smash crime drama "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013).
