Actor William Charlton was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. At the start of his acting career, Charlton appeared in dramatic series like "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Judging Amy" (CBS, 1999-2005). He also appeared in "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-). At the time, he also appeared in movies like the action movie "Money Train" (1995) with Wesley Snipes and the drama "Live Free and Die" (1998) with Scott Renderer. He continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-) and "My Name is Earl" (NBC, 2005-09). During these years, he also worked in film, earning a part in the Ryan Phillippe dramatic adaptation "Flags of Our Fathers" (2006). More recently, he tackled roles on "Lab Rats" (2011-15), "The Fosters" (ABC Family, 2012-) and "Murder in the First" (TNT, 2013-16). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Rum Diary" (2011) with Johnny Depp. Charlton most recently acted on "How To Get Away With Murder" (ABC, 2014-).
