Capone started off his career in film with roles in the Tom Hanks hit comedic fantasy "Big" (1988), "Friday the 13th Part VIII - Jason Takes Manhattan" (1989) and the comedy adventure "Cadillac Man" (1990) with Robin Williams. He then acted in "Law & Order" (1990-2010), the Willem Dafoe drama "Light Sleeper" (1992) and the Kevin Spacey dramatic adaptation "K-Pax" (2001). More recently, Capone acted on "The Black Donnellys" (NBC, 2006-07).
