Biography
Actor Tyrees Allen was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Buck James" (ABC, 1987-88). He also starred in the TV movies "When Dreams Come True" (1984-85), "Trapped" (USA, 1988-1989) and "Without Warning: The James Brady Story" (HBO, 1991). He also appeared in "Fugitive Among Us" (CBS, 1991-1992). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "Almost Perfect" (1995-97), "New York Daze" (Fox, 1995-96) and "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the musical drama "The Rat Pack" (1998) with Ray Liotta. More recently, he tackled roles on "Boston Legal" (2004-08), "Bones" (Fox, 2005-2017) and "Close to Home" (CBS, 2005-07). Allen most recently acted on "Scandal" (ABC, 2012-).
