Biography
At the tender age of 15, Lee Burns began his entertainment career as an actor. Burns began his entertainment career acting in films like the dramatic adaptation "84 Charing Cross Road" (1987) with Anne Bancroft. He also starred in the TV movies "The Way She Moves" (VH1, 2001-02) and "Warning: Parental Advisory" (VH1, 2001-02). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Cold Case" (2003-2010), "Skin" (2003-05) and "CSI: New York" (CBS, 2004-2013). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Wedding Daze" (Hallmark Channel, 2004-05). Additionally, he later acted in the Jamie Lee Curtis hit comedic adaptation "Freaky Friday" (2003). More recently, he tackled roles on "Dark Blue" (TNT, 2008-2010) and "Eleventh Hour" (CBS, 2008-09). He also appeared in "Just Like Heaven" (2005) with Reese Witherspoon. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Gone, But Not Forgotten" (2005-06). Burns most recently acted in the Ryan Smale horror flick "Absence" (2013).
