Jon Bruno was widely known for his acting on the big screen. He also was featured in the miniseries "Trial: The Price of Passion" (1991-92). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "How to Pick Up Girls!" (1978-79), "Jailbirds" (CBS, 1990-91) and "Without Warning: The James Brady Story" (HBO, 1990-91). He also appeared in "Bed of Lies" (ABC, 1991-92). Bruno started in the industry by acting in films like the historical drama "The Trust" (1993) with Sam Bottoms. In the nineties and the early 2000s, Bruno devoted his time to various credits, such as the Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis smash hit "True Lies" (1994), the Tom Hanks and Bill Paxton blockbuster "Apollo 13" (1995) and "Monkeybone" with Brendan Fraser (2001). He also worked on "Recess: School's Out" (2001) starring Justin Shenkarow. In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Bruno lent his talents to projects like "Year of the Dog" (2007) starring Molly Shannon, "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience" (2009) starring Joe Jonas and the Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds smash hit "The Proposal" (2009).
