Biography
Woody Brown was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. He also appeared in the TV movie "Flamingo Road" (NBC, 1979-1980). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Battle of the Network Stars X" (ABC, 1980-81) and "Welcome to Paradise" (CBS, 1983-84). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Love of Life" (CBS, 1951-1980). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Nightingales" (NBC, 1987-88). Following that project, he worked on the horror film "Killer Party" (1986) with Martin Hewitt, the action flick "Off Limits" (1988) with Willem Dafoe and the drama "The Accused" (1988) with Jodie Foster. He also appeared in the Joseph Bologna horror sequel "Alligator II: The Mutation" (1990). During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the Ray Sharkey drama "The Rain Killer" (1990), "Animal Instincts 2" (1994) and "Dominion" (1995). He also appeared in "Secret Games 3" (1995). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Surfing For Life" (PBS, 2000-01). Brown most recently appeared on "Surfing for Life" (2000).
