Walter Brooke was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Brooke kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "C-Man" (1949), "Conquest of Space" (1955) and the Mark Damon action flick "The Party Crashers" (1958). Walter Brooke was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Brooke kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "C-Man" (1949), "Conquest of Space" (1955) and the Mark Damon action flick "The Party Crashers" (1958). He also appeared in the Anne Bancroft dramatic adaptation "The Graduate" (1967) and "Sergeant Ryker" (1968). He continued to act in productions like the thriller "Zigzag" (1970) with George Kennedy, "Lawman" (1971) and "Executive Action" (1973) with Burt Lancaster. He also appeared in the dramedy "One Little Indian" (1973) with James Garner. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Beyond Reason" (1977), the comedy "Fun With Dick and Jane" (1977) with George Segal and the action picture "Black Sunday" (1977) with Robert Shaw. He also appeared in "North Dallas Forty" (1979) with Nick Nolte and the John Rubinstein drama "In Search of Historic Jesus" (1979). Brooke more recently acted in the Jeff Bridges thrilling mystery "Jagged Edge" (1985). Brooke passed away in August 1986 at the age of 72.
