Biography
Robert Bridges was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Bridges's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "The Virgin Soldiers" (1970) with Lynn Redgrave, the adaptation "Galileo" (1974) with Topol and "Nana" (1982) with Katia Berger. He also appeared in the Bob Geldof musical "Pink Floyd The Wall" (1982). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in "Mr. Love" (1986) starring Barry Jackson and the comedy adaptation "Consuming Passions" (1988) with Vanessa Redgrave. Bridges continued to exercise his talent in the eighties and the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Casualties of War" (1989) starring Michael J. Fox, "Hands of a Murderer" (CBS, 1989-1990) and "Strike It Rich" (1990) starring Molly Ringwald. Most recently, Bridges acted in "Terror in the Jungle" (2011).
