Biography
Joe Yule was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Yule found his beginnings in film with roles in "Boom Town" (1940), "Billy the Kid" (1941) with Robert Taylor and "Kathleen" (1941) with Shirley Temple Black. Yule then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Maisie Was a Lady" (1941) with Ann Sothern, the Virginia Weidler musical "Born to Sing" (1942) and the Wallace Beery comedy "Jackass Mail" (1942). He also appeared in "Bringing Up Father" (1946), "Jiggs and Maggie in Society" (1947) and "Jiggs and Maggie in Court" (1948). Later in his career, Yule acted in "Jiggs and Maggie Out West" (1950). Yule passed away in March 1950 at the age of 56.
