Biography

Built upon a career full of sweat-inducing, heart-pounding roles, Ian Yule was considered an accomplished actorwithin the action movie genre. Yule began his acting career with roles in such films as "My Way" (1974), the action film "Spoor" (1975) with Giles Ridley and the action movie "The Diamond Mercenaries" (1975) with Telly Savalas. He also appeared in the thriller "Golden Rendezvous" (1977) with Richard Harris, the action picture "The Wild Geese" (1978) with Richard Burton and the Burt Lancaster action flick "Zulu Dawn" (1979). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the David Carradine comedy "Safari 3000" (1984), the Wayne Crawford comedy adventure "Jake Speed" (1986) and "City of Blood" (1987). He also appeared in "Rage to Kill" (1988) and "River of Death" (1989) with Michael Dudikoff. Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "Point of Impact" (1993) with Michael Paré and the action movie "Warhead" (1995) with Frank Zagarino. He also was featured in the TV movies "Merchant of Death" (The Movie Channel, 1998-99) and "Operation Delta Force III: Clear Target" (Cinemax, 1998-99). Yule most recently appeared in "Traitor's Heart" (Cinemax, 1999-2000).
