Gretchen Wyler was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She had an early role on the television special "Ghost of a Chance" (ABC, 1979-1980). At the time, she also appeared in movies like the William Holden drama "The Devil's Brigade" (1968) and the Goldie Hawn comedy "Private Benjamin" (1980). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Last Fling" (ABC, 1986-87). She also appeared in the TV special "For Members Only" (CBS, 1982-83). Later, she earned a role in "The Marrying Man" (1991) with Kim Basinger. In the latter half of her career, she tackled roles on "The Five Mrs. Buchanans" (CBS, 1994-95) and "Friends" (NBC, 1994-2004). She also was featured in the TV movie "Once You Meet a Stranger" (CBS, 1996-97). Wyler last worked on "The 2001 Genesis Awards" (Animal Planet, 2000-01). Wyler passed away in May 2007 at the age of 75.
