In the early 2000s, she worked on the silver screen, taking roles in the Dr. Dre action flick "The Wash" (2001), the Ice Cube crime drama "Barbershop" (2002) and the Pras Michel comedy "Go for Broke" (2002). She also appeared in the Ice Cube comedy sequel "Barbershop 2: Back in Business" (2004). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Philly" (ABC, 2001-02).
