Biography
Steve Witting was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Witting began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Michael Keaton blockbuster action picture "Batman Returns" (1992), "Hoffa" (1992) and "Dave" (1993) with Kevin Kline. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Family Matters" (CBS, 1989-1998) and "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" (ABC, 1992-97). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "Maybe This Time" (1995-96), "It's Like, You Know..." (ABC, 1998-2000) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015). During these years, he also worked in film, earning a part in the Leonardo DiCaprio hit crime picture "Catch Me If You Can" (2002). Witting focused on film in more recent years, appearing in "The Men Who Stare at Goats" (2009), the Leonardo DiCaprio blockbuster thrilling adaptation "Shutter Island" (2010) and the Jason Bateman blockbuster comedy "Identity Thief" (2013). He also appeared in the Leonardo DiCaprio smash hit crime drama "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013) and the comedy "Bad Words" (2014) with Jason Bateman. Witting most recently acted in the Nicole Kidman dramatic adaptation "The Family Fang" (2016).
