It is true that Alex Wilson was known for running the bases, and he brought his talents to the entertainment business. Wilson found his beginnings in film with roles in the Robert Corff drama "Gas-s-s-s!" (1970) and the Michael J Pollard western "Dirty Little Billy" (1972). He went on to act in "Stand Up and Be Counted" (1972), "Shamus" (1973) with Burt Reynolds and "The Boys" (CBS, 1973-74). He also appeared in "The Law" (NBC, 1974-75). More recently, Wilson worked on "Made" (2001) with Jon Favreau.
