Biography
Ian Patrick Williams was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Known for making audiences laugh, Williams began his acting career in comedies like "TerrorVision" (1986) starring Diane Franklin and "Dolls" (1987) with Ian Patrick Williams and Carolyn Purdy-Gordon. He also appeared in the TV movie "Six Against the Rock" (NBC, 1986-87). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Designing Women" (CBS, 1986-1993) and "Married... With Children" (Fox, 1986-1997). His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like "Bad Channels" (1992) with Paul Hipp and the action flick "Born Bad" (1998) with Corey Feldman. He also starred in the TV movies "The Woman Who Sinned" (ABC, 1991-92) and "Donato and Daughter" (CBS, 1993-94). Recently, he tackled roles on "Criminal Minds" (2005-), "Modern Family" (ABC, 2009-) and "Rizzoli & Isles" (TNT, 2009-16). He also appeared in "Eagleheart" (Cartoon Network, 2010-14) and "Ray Donovan" (Showtime, 2012-). Williams most recently acted on "Sam & Cat" (Nickelodeon, 2012-13).
