Baseball star Ed Williams brought his incredible talents and charisma to the entertainment business. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "I Want to Live" (1982-83), "The B.R.A.T. Patrol" (ABC, 1986-87) and "Infidelity" (ABC, 1986-87). He also appeared in "To Heal a Nation" (NBC, 1987-88). In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Williams held acting roles in films like the Sondra Locke dramatic adventure "Ratboy" (1986). He then appeared in the comedy "The Naked Gun - From the Files of Police Squad!" (1988) with Priscilla Presley, the comedy sequel "The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear" (1991) with Leslie Nielsen and the comedy "Father of the Bride" (1991) with Steve Martin. In the nineties, Williams lent his talents to projects like "The Woman Who Sinned" (ABC, 1991-92), "The Giant of Thunder Mountain" with Richard Kiel (1992) and "Sliver" (1993) starring Sharon Stone. His credits also expanded to "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult" (1994) starring Leslie Nielsen and "Money Train" with Wesley Snipes (1995). Most recently, Williams acted on "The Loop" (Fox, 2005-07).
