Biography
Actor Ralph Wilcox was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. Early on in his acting career, Wilcox landed roles in various films, including the Ron Leibman action movie "The Super Cops" (1973), "Crazy Joe" (1973) and the action picture "Gordon's War" (1973) with Paul Winfield. He also appeared in "The River Niger" (1975), the Candy Clark comedy sequel "More American Graffiti" (1979) and the Paul Sorvino comedy "Off the Wall" (1983). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Cop and A Half" (1993) and the Ed Harris romance "China Moon" (1994). He also starred in the TV movies "White Lie" (USA, 1991-92) and "Stompin' at the Savoy" (CBS, 1991-92). Recently, he tackled roles on "The Monroes" (ABC, 1995-96) and "SeaQuest 2032" (NBC, 1995-96). He also was featured in the TV movie "Her Deadly Rival" (CBS, 1995-96). Wilcox most recently directed the dramatic biopic "The Lena Baker Story" (2009) with Tichina Arnold.
