She also starred in the TV movies "Johnny Belinda" (CBS, 1982-83) and "Grace Kelly" (ABC, 1982-83). White also lent her vocal talents to "Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo" (ABC, 1979-1986). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like the comedic drama "Memories of Me" (1988) with Alan King. She also starred in the TV movies "Toughlove" (ABC, 1985-86) and "Love on the Run" (NBC, 1985-86). More recently, White wrote the musical drama "Newsies" (1992) with Christian Bale, the Liz Callaway animated motion picture "Anastasia" (1997) and the Tony Goldwyn hit animated adventure "Tarzan" (1999).
