Wesselhoeft then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Ready For Love" (1934), "Ladies in Love" (1936) with Janet Gaynor and "The Prisoner of Zenda" (1937). Later in his career, Wesselhoeft acted in "Four Sons" (1940) with Don Ameche. Wesselhoeft passed away in December 1945 at the age of 63.
