Biography
German actor Peter Weiss made a name for himself on the big screen. Weiss worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat As Performed By the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade" (1967) starring Ian Richardson and "Man From Atlantis" (NBC, 1976-77). He then acted in the comedy "Sugarbaby" (1985) with Marianne Sägebrecht, the drama sequel "Die Zweite Heimat: Leaving Home" (1993) with Henry Arnold and "Gideon's Crossing" (2000-01). He also appeared in "Nightfall" (2000) with Verena Jasch. Weiss was most recently credited in "Dating Lanzelot" (2012). Weiss was married to Barbara Robbins. Weiss passed away in May 1982 at the age of 66.
