Biography
Adam Wade was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. At the beginning of his acting career, Wade landed roles in action flicks like the Richard Roundtree film "Shaft" (1971) and "Gordon's War" (1973) starring Paul Winfield. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Search For Tomorrow" (CBS, 1951-1987). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Tony Orlando and Dawn" (CBS, 1973-77). He also starred in the TV movies "Nicky's World" (CBS, 1973-74) and "Street Killing" (ABC, 1976-77). Later, he earned a role in the Diahann Carroll drama "Claudine" (1974). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Uptown Saturday Night" (NBC, 1978-79). He also appeared in "Kiss Me Goodbye" (1982) with Sally Field. He also lent his distinctive voice to "The Super Globetrotters" (NBC, 1979-1980). Wade most recently acted on "Inside Amy Schumer" (Comedy Central, 2012-).
